Maintenance Completed the Week Of: 2019-06-03

Cut and trimmed all turf areas.

Raked debris and algae from pond and streams.

Cut and cleaned up weeds in the Lessard stream.

Weeded and cleaned up around Dalhousie entrance.

Applied flocculant treatment to pond and stream.

Built up soil under edges of stream liners and replaced rocks.

Applied algaecide treatment to pond and streams.

Met with the City of Edmonton to get tree replacements around the pond and stream into their work plan.  Actual planting won’t be for at least another year.

Expected to complete June 10th – June 16th 2019:

Mow and trim all grass areas.

Finish clean up at Dalhousie entrance.

Weed shrub beds.

Remove suckers from trees and dead branches from shrubs.

Treatment of algae in streams.

Rake out algae and debris from pond and streams.

Remove floating pond fountain and take to Alberta Irrigation for inspection.

Upgrade pump discharge piping at Dalhousie Fountain in preparation for start-up once cement repair and epoxy has properly cured.
