Repairs to fences and gazebo footers

To help maintain structural integrities and overall appearances, we recently replaced rotted boards and painted our common fences. We renewed some broken aluminum supports on a number of our benches.

We also removed the concrete bases at the pillars of the gazebo at the main pond and replaced them with heavy wooden structures that should endure the test of time. Built taller than their predecessors, these new structures were designed to hide gap height fluctuations from annual vertical pillar movements. The changes were completed this summer by Ivon from Bliss Maintenance. He has also been responsible for performing fence repairs around the neighborhood.
